Aims
- Integrate basic components of the program
- Provide a sense of a variety of learning experiences which must develop a sense of participation, service and achievement among the volunteers

- Identify the needs and problems of the community and involve them in problem-solving
- Develop among them a sense of social and civic responsibility
- Utilize their knowledge in finding practical solutions to individual and community problems

The students of Father Muller Nursing College, Thumbay, participated in the Republic Day Celebration on 26th January 2023 at 8.30 am organized by Fr Muller Hospital Thumbay. The Programme started with a prayer song followed by welcome address by Administrator Rev. Fr. Sylvester Vincent Lobo.
Prof. K N Gangadhara Alva, Principal, B. A. P U College, Thumbay was the Chief Guest. To mark the formal adoption of the Indian Constitution Flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest. The Chief Guest addressed the gathering on the significance of the day. The Programme was concluded with a vote of thanks.
As a part of Republic Day Celebration, the students of FMNCT held a street play on the importance of saving the environment at Thumbay Bus Stand as well as Farangipete Bus stand. The students also participated in environment cleaning initiative as a part of Swatch Gram Initiative under the Thumbay Gram Panchayat.
