Unity Hospital the New Hub For Medical Tourism
Total shoulder replacement surgery was performed at Unity Hospital on a 49 years old Nigerian patient Mr.Benedict, an employee of Union Bank of Nigeria had suffered a complex fracture of the right shoulder 2 years back following which he had severe pain & restriction of Right Shoulder joint movements.
As a part of Medical tourism promoted by Unity Hospital an ISO 9001:2008, he has traveled all the way form Nigeria for the treatment. He was operated upon by Orthopaedic team led by Dr.B.Sachidanand Rai, Consultant Orthopaedic Joint Replacement Surgeon, Unity Hospital, Dr.Gopal Hegde, Dr.Suresh Bhat Dr.Ismail & Dr. Sanjay Shahri were part of the team which successfully treated this patient.
