Mangalore: Semi-Private Corporate Rooms Inaugurated at Unity Hospital
Newly-built semi-private corporate rooms were inaugurated at the Unity Hospital here on Tuesday July 17.
The corporate rooms were inaugurated by Dr P Tamilvanan, chairman of NMPT who was the chief guest.
Dr. C.P. Habeeb Rahman responded to the award by highlighting the role of healthcare services in the society and the emerging role of Indian Health tourism. He said India is the best medical fraternity working in different parts of the world and quality health services is the emphasis through hospitals in India now.

J P Shetty gave a brief introduction on the newly built semi-private corporate rooms. The rooms are mainly designed for people of lower socio-economic status, with a patient-friendly nursing counter and various other facilities. Speaking on the occasion, Tamilvanan said Unity hospital is known for its medical facilities in the city and that as many as 60% of NMPT employees are referred to this hospital. He appreciated the team effort and vision of the chairman in fostering growth.
Habeeb Rahman briefed on Unity's achievement since its inception in 1978 and assured support to needy patients with better medical facilities.
On the occasion, Dr Paul Varghese, in-house cardiologist shared his experience in this institution.
Devdas B, admin co-ordinator welcomed the gathering, Lily Lasrado proposed the vote of thanks and Manasa Rao compered.
