75th Indian Independence Day celebration at Unity Hospital

Unity hospital was beautifully decorated with the tri colour to celebrate the 75 th India's Independence on August 15,2022.
The program was presided by Dr.C.P.Habeeb Rahman(Chairman & Medical Director,Unity Hospital). the chief guest was Dr.Shankara Nellikunja(Consultant Neurologist).The other guests on the Dias were Dr.Devadiga(Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon),Dr.Raja(Principal-Unity Academy of Education) & Mr.Devaraj.B(GM-Operations,Unity Hospital) The guests off the dias were Directors-Mrs.Amina Habeeb Rahman, Mr.Ajmal.Habeeb, Mr.Ashfaq Habeeb ,Mrs.Farhana Ajmal habeeb & family,Senior consultants, Duty Doctors, Nurses,HoD's,In- Charges, hospital staff & hospital visitors.

The Independence Day celebration opened with a melodious patriotic song sung by the students of the Unity Academy of Education.
It was followed by a skit presented by the staff of the security & transport department of Unity Hospital. The skit highlighted the importance of UNITY IN DIVERSITY, which is the need of the hour for peace, prosperity and progress of our country.
Then came the moment which all were waiting for-The flag hoisting ceremony!
The National flag is hoisted by the Chief guest & followed by the singing of Our national anthem which echoed the patriotic feeling that each and every one present, was feeling in their hearts.

Then, The chief guest, Dr.Shankara addressed the gathering and highlighted the fact that Unity Hospital was which was known for being one of the best Intensive Trauma care units has still carried on its legacy of quality healthcare service and best nursing care.
Prize distribution for the sports & cultural activities as well as the best employee awards in different categories was given away amidst loud cheering from the audience.
Lastly the Chairman, Dr.C.P.Habeeb Rahman addressed the gathering and reminisced on the journey of our Independence remembering the sacrifices made by many so that we can enjoy the luxury of being world citizens as "Free Indians". He pointed out the need for each and every one to play our part in taking forward the nation towards peace & prosperity.
The program came to an end with each and every one feeling proud of being a citizen of FREE INDIA and keeping in mind the responsibility of taking our country to the pinnacle of being a developed nation!
