OVERVIEW

FMMCHL is a NABL accredited laboratory catering to the needs of in house as well as outside patients. It is the only lab in this region which is accredited for all the braches of medical lab (Biochemistry, Microbiology, Hematology & Oncology, Histopathology & Cytology). FMMCHL got the accreditation for the first time in 2012, reaccredited in 2014 , and the present accreditation is valid upto August 2016 . In the NABH assessment conducted in 2015, lab was considered as one of excellent departments in FMMCH.

Biochemistry

Biochemistry lab has Cobas 6000 automatted analyzers. This section has a wide array of tests including routine chemistry, hormones, vitamins, tumor markers, automated electrophoresis with quantitation for serum proteins and hemoglobin variants and osmolality . The lab has external quality control programme with Biorad USA.

FMMCHL carries out its testing activities complying with ISO 15189 , ISO 15190, NABL, NABH, Medical Council of India and other relevant statutory guidelines.

Our Strength

FMMCHL has well qualified authorized signatories, technicians and other staff. The team comprising of lab director, quality manager, technical managers and deputy managers, monitors and maintains the quality of lab reports. FMMCHL has internal and external quality assurance programme in place . Staff are regularly trained and assessed to ensure competence.
