Transport Department

As this is purely a service oriented department, the main duty of the staff is to render polite, prompt and courteous service to various departments and students of the Institution. It offers services 24 hours a day. The vehicles are used for the shifting of patients inside the hospital. Ambulances, in particular, are needed to bring patients and take patients to their respective destination. The Transport Department routinely attends to the following tasks:

• Providing to and fro bus service from Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, Deralakatte, to FMCI and St Antony Charity Institute.
• Providing transport to rural centres at Surathkal, Mullerkad and other places.
• Providing transport for medical camps, blood camps, other training camps.
• Providing transport for our clinics at Bunder (Nireshwalya) and Jeppu.
• Providing transport for medical camps at Bajpe, Salethur, Natyakal and Bela.
• Providing transport facilities for General Stores, Cafeteria, HPD, Rehabilitation Unit, Welding and Maintenance Department.

The Department maintains a well appointed service ramp for in–house maintenance like servicing, greasing, etc.
